Hello my name is Katrina or Kat as some people call me and I started a little business called DesignsbyKatrinaLeigh. A little back story on why I created this business I was born and raised for the most part of my life in a little small town called Taylorsville, Ky. I have a 14 year old daughter and she was my inspiration to start this business, she was and is my biggest supporter even to this day so one day she told me mommy you should try to sell these they are so pretty. So it was then I decided to try this not just as a hobby but as a business. I love creating things, at first it was just a way to relax me from all the stress I was feeling, I say tye dye is my therapy and as I started doing tye dye something about it was just magical watching all the colors come together and making something amazingly unique and beautiful. So when I did my first tye dye which was with snow boy let me tell ya I was hooked. It was then I thought well if this makes me happy why not give other people a chance to have something beautiful and unique and let them choose their own colors and patterns too. Every tye dye piece I make always turns out differently than I had planned and because of that no two people will ever have the same shirt. Believe me I have tried and they both came out different and unique but you know what that's o.k. because each piece is made with patience and love... So won't you join me on this beautiful adventure and support a small town business mama just trying to spread some colorful joy in this world... Now fast forward to the present and my daughter is 17 and she still is my biggest supporter she even gives me color combos to experiment with and she draws designs that I print and put on shirts, so now a little piece of her talent is also part of my business. :-)
